Kim Brown | 2010 | Jack Stone’s Barn

I met up with Kim for a solo-shoot at Jack Stone’s Barn this past Friday — she’s super sweet & super fun & super gorgeous!! We had a great time strolling around the lot — such a beautiful backdrop. If I could have any plot of land in this town, that would be it! It’s very old school looking … full of fabulous textures and radtastic “props” to work with! Anyway, back to the post! Kim brought along a friend of hers as well, who came in very handy for bringing out her laughter and real smiles (thanks)! Her hubby, Jason, is currently deployed, so of course … receiving photos of his gorgeous wife is sure to brighten his day! Now, she told me the last time she’d actually had her photos taken solo was quite some time ago … age 18! Whew! I have to say Kim, it’s about time! Soooo …. enough rambling from me … have a look-see at Kim rockin’ out the farm!!!! (Warning: Image Heavy)

Homecoming Surprises!

George is another Mighty Shrike (VFA 94) who came home along with my hubby, with a bit of a surprise for his fiance, Denise …. can you guess what she wasn’t to keen on??

I really LOVE how his surprise played out! 5 minutes after being home, he went and shaved off the mustache! Hilarious!!! =)

Welcome Home Hubby (and fellow Shrikes)! =)

The girls and I took a spur of the moment road trip to Wisconsin with my parents, mainly as a means of getting my bro’s truck to my sis so that she would have a means to transport her horses around! We just merely tagged along for the ride, and ended up spending 2.5 weeks in God’s country (aka my Uncle John’s). We had the greatest time hanging out with family, friends, and all of their animals! I was able to take the girls riding, they learned about gardening from their Great Uncle John, helped change a tire on a riding lawn mower, and we took them fishing at Bass Lake! We were in heaven and medicine free … no allergies up there! Pics from the vacay to come, so stay tuned!

Anyhoo … I got a call from my hubby … coming home early! =) My parents sent us packing with Sun Country … non-stop to Los Angeles, and our good friend Toney drove 3 hours (6 round trip) to get us in the wee hours of the morning … of July 4th! We unpacked, washed clothes, cleaned house … and 4 days later … he was home! =) Sorta funny shooting your own homecoming … but I did, of course! Here’s a few shots of our reunion:
