Beautiful Babe on a Blustery Day

Another fantastic day, another gorgeous baby!!! Today I had the pleasure of meeting up with a beautiful little girl and her mom — still not sure who invited the wind! Poor little thing was just shivering in her tutus, but she stuck it out for a quick afternoon of modeling. :-) Yesterday I had “beginning legs” and today was “new legs” — with that comes the need to explore everything around! I had so much fun following her around the park — she was totally on the go, but would sit down for a nanosecond, pose, and then hop right back off to a new spot! I just had to grab a few for the blog before I sign off to homework land — here are my faves:

Miss Cutie Patootie

I had the pleasure of photographing the cutest little 9 month old girl today!!! She was extremely shy at first (maybe it was my 70-200 lens), but the giggles were pouring out after she got to know my camera a little better (and a lens change). :-) She’s in that learning to walk stage … you know, the one where they don’t want help! It was such a joy to be around her, and made me think back to when mine were that little — gosh, it seems like foreverago now! Speaking of them, they totally tagged along for this session — they loooooove babies, especially Robyn — her and her cootchie cootchie coo — always brings a smile out in someone’s baby! A big thank you to her and her mommy — I loooove photographing little ones!!! Without further adieu, here are a few of my faves from our shoot:

Bye, Bye Rain…Hello Family Photo Shoot

I had the pleasure of spending last Saturday with a really fun family, at Freedom Park in Hanford — that place rocks! I had photographed the kiddos last year for their school pics — 5 Times The Fun, but had yet to get mom in there (except her legs) – see below:

So, we figured it was time for another session. Try as we may, we were not able to catch dad — next time, for sure! Here is mom, beautiful as ever:

Their kiddos are just amazing and full of life! The little one especially — I just cannot get enough of her. Mom told me just before we left, that she had been wanting a picture of her tongue — which is apparently heart shaped. Well, she wouldn’t cooperate, but I found one as I was viewing the session in Bridge:

Of course, she became sorta cranky towards the end, but her mood changed when she saw a man in a motorized parachute, soaring through the sky. She would get so sad when he disappeared, and asked “Where’d he go?”:

But was mesmerized when he reappeared:

Now last time, the boys were rather shy. But this time, as soon as they got out of their mom’s car, they went crazy! “Can you take a picture of me like this? How about over here?” Her oldest son was crackin’ me up — apparently, he had just gotten a hair cut — I couldn’t see his eyes, so his little bro decided to help us out out:
